This is a job vacancy is for an experienced upholsterer with both domestic and traditional upholstery skills. Every chair is different so these skills will be necessary to refurbish the wide variety and quantity of chairs passing through our hands every week. Attention to detail and quality are paramount as is the ability to work to timescales.
It would be an advantage to have experience with chair mechanics, but not necessary as this can be taught on the job.
The job is an integral part of a busy upholstery team and will work closely with a cutter and machinist so good communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must.
This is a permanent, full time job, with regular hours at our premises in Reading, Berkshire.
